No way! Our foods are the colors that result from cooking and mixing their ingredients. The colors might not be the exact same as what you typically see on store shelves, because we don’t use extra ingredients or chemical processes to change them.
Nope! We take pride in developing recipes that are incredibly delicious all on their own. If we can’t make it naturally delicious, then we won’t make it at all.
None at all. With the right mix of natural ingredients and cooking, we make tasty foods that last without adding chemicals or artificial preservatives to them. We use science and nature to keep our foods tasting fresher, longer.
Invert sugar is made by breaking down regular table sugar into simpler sugars with heat, water and natural enzymes. We use it in some of our food because it provides a different texture than table sugar.
Agar agar is a naturally occurring algae extract. Agar has been used in food around the world for 150 years. Only recently has it started to become more popular in the United States.
Pectin is a naturally occurring fruit extract. In cooking, it works similar to gelatin, except it doesn’t come from animals (gelatin is typically made from ground up animal skin, bones, and other untraceable tissues). In fact, most pectin is made from the rind and fruit leftovers from other fruit production so using it helps turn food waste into new food!
Our products all have expiration dates printed on their package. The foods are not bad or spoiled after these dates, we just don’t think they taste as good as fresh ones would by then.
Most, but not all of our products are Gluten Free. Fruit Snacks, Jerky, and Protein Bites are Gluten Free. Our cookies are not.
All products except our Peanut Butter Hop Fudge cookies are Nut Free.
Most, but not all of our products are Dairy Free. Chocolate Chirp Cookies, Fruit Snacks, Jerky, and Protein Bites are Dairy Free.
All of our products are soy free (even our jerky!).
